Description Grounk (the crane) is a traditional Armenian song by Komitas the priest. It is one of the widely arranged songs in the Armenian classical vocal and instrumental repertoire. However, the piece itself is not an arrangement.

Taqsim, is the Arabic word for an improvisation system tied to a specific instrumental and modal melodic invention techniques.

Knowing the sense of these two words, the title becomes self explanatory. The western classical fantasia transforms the theme to expresses the fragmented, multilayered and torn up cultures of Middle-East.
